I. NEW ENGLAND REGION SUMMARY

The New England coastal region is currently experiencing elevated seas and choppy surf conditions. Strong North-Northeast winds are driving a high-energy, but generally disorganized, swell pattern. Offshore seas east of Cape Cod are forecast to be 5 to 7 feet. Mariners should note North winds between 10 to 15 knots, increasing to 15 to 20 knots with gusts up to 25 knots in the afternoon.
